October 26 – Chapter Fall Plant Sale and Member Appreciation Day

Location: Tree of Life Nursery, San Juan Capistrano (Directions)

Time: 9am to 4pm

Join us as we gather to celebrate the start of another planting season. Member appreciation and learning/sharing are the themes of the
day. Knowledgeable members will be manning the nursery display areas and will be ready to assist with plant selection. Bring your questions, your garden plans, and your curiosity. Bring your friends too!

We are pleased to announce our great lineup of speakers:

  • 9:30 am Rob Moore – Plants and ideas from "The California Native Landscape" (2013, authors Rubin/Warren) that will enhance your Southern California garden.
  • 10:15 am Celia Kutcher – Presentation slide show on "Natives for Small Spaces".
  • 11:15 am Rama Nayeri – "California Native Plants for the Garden" (2005, authors Bornstein/Fross/O'Brien) is still the bible of plant selection for our area. Rama will highlight several of the great plants profiled in this iconic book.
  • 2:00 pm Bob Allen/Laura Camp – Plants from "Wildflowers of Orange County and the Santa Ana Mountains" (2013, authors Allen/Roberts) and how they can brighten your garden.
