Trip Recap

16 CNPS members and their guests took a field trip to one of Orange Counties most threatened habitats - the Southern maritime chaparral of Niguel Hill and Aliso Peak. Lots of great plants, some quite uncommon. 118 species in all. Quite a morning!
Beginning at Niguel Hill, we wilked downslope, then back upslope. to the top of Aliso Peak. A lot of very uncommon Orange County plants grow in this rare Southern Maritime Chaparral plant community.
